Well after a day of working on the car we (Monkey and I with advice, tools, and shop space from VE) we got the exhaust and cold air kit installed as best we could.
After breaking all of the rusted parts loose or just having them fall off we stated the install.
The Exhaust had several issues that we didn't expect. Our only guess is that we are finding the subtle differences between the 7 series and the 9 series. The muffler comes about 2 1/2" shy of reaching the hangers and the bands to attach the resonator and muffler don't fit the attachment points on the 740. I have contacted Eurosport Tuning and hope to have the correct parts soon.
The new exhaust is on but we had to use nonstandard methods to keep it in place until for now.

The CAI was an easy swap and with a small amount of work there is cold air being pulled from out side of the engine compartment.

A pillar of three
I now have the A-Pillar 3 Gauge Pod, Camshaft & Cam Gear Kit, and the Prosport Digital Boost Gauge should be here in the next couple of days. All I need now is the Air/Fuel Gauge and I can run some good boost levels.
The suspension and brakes are the next big job before jumping into things like an intercooler that can handle real boost and other high priced toys.

Update
The exhaust is here as well as the cold air intake. The cam should be here Friday or Monday.
I had to drop another $200+ on the 740 today when it left me stranded while I was going to buy some batteries for several of my coworkers' pedometers (money out of my own pocket because I'm a nice asshole). After several long cranks of the engine and a quick look at the Volt Meter that is reading >10 volts I knew a battery was in my future. So now I have a Yellow Top Optima and no more low voltage issues.
I have also decided to change the gauges that I want to run. As you can see in an earlier post I had planned to use the Prosport Blue Performance Gauges. Now that they have come out with their Wide band Fuel/Air Ratio Kit I think I will get that and the Digital Boost Gauge when I can squeeze a few more dollars from my tiny educator's paycheck.

Exhaust
I got home today and Buster Brown had left me a gift.

740 Turbo - stainless steel cat back systems are made from 2 1/2" pipe diameter that noticeably improves throttle response with minimal back pressure
Thanks to Frank Derks for helping get the exhaust to me in record time.
They were out of the Aluminized steel exhaust that I had ordered and would be for three to four months. He was able to put together a complete system for me in stainless and work on the price so I could still afford it.
